Admission requirements Bachelor
Admission to the Bachelor's course requires proof of various degrees. In addition, an aptitude assessment must be passed, as the number of study places is limited to 40 (cycle 2025–2028).
To be admitted to the Bachelor's course, you must first pass an aptitude assessment.
When registering for the aptitude assessment, you are required to provide evidence of all the following certificates (registration deadline: 30 April 2025):
- Baccalaureate from a vocational/technical college or secondary school
- Up-to-date certificate «first aid level 1 IVR» (not older than 2 years)
OR
Certificate «BLS-AED-SRC complet» (not older than 2 years) TOGETHER WITH a certificate «Nothilfe/Nothelferausweis» or emergency assistance course, Swiss Army (not older than 6 years); please upload both documents as one PDF! - Up-to-date «Brevet Basis Pool» lifesaving certificate from the Swiss Lifesaving Society (SLRG) (not older than 4 years)

- SFISM's examination board will decide whether courses and qualifications are equivalent. E-mail your documents (degree certificate, content, duration etc.) for checking to bachelor@baspo.admin.ch
