SFISM students benefit from the advisory services available at both SFISM and BFH. Topics such as their studies, financial matters and personal career planning can be discussed.
At SFISM, students are advised at an early stage on specific questions relating to the degree programmes offered, and also on specific problems or challenges that arise during their studies. Specific questions about study contents, part-time studies etc, an also be discussed here. All advisory services are confidential and are provided free of charge. BFH Counselling Services
BFH's Counselling Services offers specialist and psychological services, development coaching and workshops on topics such as how to learn successfully, and Mastering exam situations.

Adminssion of foreign students
- Language requirements: Goethe Certificate C1 for German, DALF Certificate C1 for French
- Curriculum Vitae and education certificate (high school diploma) including the courses attended and marks to be sent with the inquiry
