The Swiss Federal Institute of Sport Magglingen SFISM is the only Swiss university exclusively dedicated to education and continuing education, research, development and services in the field of sport. It conducts research in youth, recreational and elite sport.

Bachelor of Science EHSM in Sports
The Bachelor of Science SFISM in Sports is the only university of applied sciences degree programme that provides a solid foundation for both professional and academic careers in sport.

Master of Science in Sports with Specialization in Elite Sports
The degree programme combines sports science with performance sport practice and sports management. Interdisciplinary, application-oriented research and development are put into practice in the Swiss elite sports system.
Master of Science in Sports Sciences
The degree programme offers excellent teaching and research conditions in the field of sports sciences. It is offered in collaboration with the University of Fribourg.
Continuing education
Continuing education
The continuing education courses at the SFISM enable students to specialise in a variety of sports science disciplines and gain additional qualifications. Programmes include MAS/SFISM and CAS courses as well as one-day or multiple-day modules and seminars. Some of the programmes are run jointly with partners.
Sports Coach Education Switzerland
The role of a coach is a varied one, and the challenges involved are complex. A coach shapes the development of athletes and represents their primary point of reference in terms of support, advice, motivation, organization, analysis and reflection.
