Aptitude assessment
A one-day aptitude assessment in June determines admission to the Bachelor's course. The registration phase for the aptitude test lasts from mid-February to the end of April of the same year.
One-day aptitude assessments will be held in Magglingen from 23 to 25 June 2026 (reserve day: 22 June 2026). Each assessment is divided into two parts, the first of which is an evaluation of candidates’ motor skills. The motor skills test is itself broken down into two parts: the physical exercise test and the gameplay test. These include tasks relating to the following sports:
- gymnastics
- dance
- ball sports
- racket sports
- roller sports (skateboard)
- athletics
The second part of the assessment considers candidates’ personal aptitude for sport-related professions. It must be completed by every candidate:
- text comprehension test
Subject to change without notice.
Elite athletes are exempt from the motor skills tests. However, they are still required to attend the assessment in June and participate in the personal aptitude test. Athletes holding a gold, silver, bronze or elite Swiss Olympic Card are considered to be elite athletes (Art. 11 SFISM Ordinance, Fedlex).
Candidates are responsible for their own accommodation and meals on assessment days.
Aptitude tests are not open to the public. Access to the sports facilities is restricted to candidates participating in the assessments.
Information on the assessment are available in German (see above) and French. The French version of this information are available on the French website: Test d'aptidude
