Sports media library

The media library is the academic centre of excellence for the dissemination of knowledge and information for students and practitioners.

Summer opening hours

The Sports media library will be closed from 19 July to 4 August 2025.

It develops and disseminates books and brochures, journals, articles, DVDs and CDs on different sporting disciplines and sports science topics.

The media library endeavours to provide an optimum service for students, teaching staff and other customers. This includes building and maintaining the collection, assistance with searching in library catalogues and scientific databases, as well as participating in the development of electronic information delivery. Media may be borrowed or used on site. Computer terminals for research plus other work and learning stations are available.

Outside opening hours, employees and students can borrow their reserved media independently via self-check on their user account. The library card is required for this.
We are happy to also arrange individual appointments for a consultation or to use the stock.
