Aptitude assessment 2022: slight increase in proportion of women

Around 100 candidates participated in this year's aptitude assessment which took place over three days and is a key part of the admission process for future students in the Bachelor's course at SFISM that begins in the autumn. Thanks to the commitment of the Magglingen team with numerous helpers, the admission test was conducted smoothly and without injuries.

The 40 future students in the 2022-25 Bachelor's course comprise: 13 women and 27 men, including four female and three male elite athletes with a Swiss Olympic Card. Of the 13 women, 12 speak German and one French, and of the 27 men 22 speak German, 4 speak French and one speaks Italian. The proportion of women among the future Bachelor students increased slightly compared with previous years and now accounts for around one third.

The aptitude assessment is used to decide which candidates will be admitted to the Bachelor of Science SFISM in Sports in Magglingen. The tests include general physical performance, zone ball, gymnastics and dance, apparatus gymnastics, games and swimming and diving. The candidates demonstrate their sporting versatility on one day each. We look forward to welcoming the future Bachelor's students in Magglingen.
